Nociceptive Pain

Nociceptive pain, or stimulus-induced pain, is pain in response to damage of healthy tissue, such as that caused by tissue-damaging tumors or chemicals released from tumors. Sometimes, nociceptive pain is located mostly in one spot. At other times, it's more spread out, especially when it originates in or near internal organs.
